Preach{(G5657)} the word; be instant{(G5628)} in season, out of season; reprove{(G5657)}, rebuke{(G5657)}, exhort{(G5657)} with all longsuffering and doctrine.

For the time will come{(G5704)} when they will not endure{(G5695)} sound{(G5723)} doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap{(G5692)} to themselves teachers, having itching{(G5746)} ears;

And they shall turn away{G654}{(G5692)} their ears from the truth, and shall be turned{(G5691)} unto fables.

But watch{(G5720)} thou in all things, endure afflictions{(G5657)}, do{(G5657)} the work of an evangelist, make full proof{(G5657)} of thy ministry.

For I am now ready to be offered{(G5743)}, and the time of my departure is at hand{(G5758)}.

I have fought{(G5766)} a good fight, I have finished{(G5758)} my course, I have kept{(G5758)} the faith:

Henceforth there is laid up{(G5736)} for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give{(G5692)} me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love{(G5761)} his appearing.

Do thy diligence{(G5657)} to come{(G5629)} shortly unto me:

For Demas hath forsaken{(G5627)} me, having loved{(G5660)} this present world, and is departed{(G5675)} unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.

Only Luke is{(G5748)} with me. Take{(G5631)} Mark, and bring him{(G5720)} with thee: for he is{(G5748)} profitable to me for the ministry.

And Tychicus have I sent{(G5656)} to Ephesus.

The cloke that I left{(G5627)} at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest{(G5740)}, bring{(G5720)} with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.

Alexander the coppersmith did{(G5668)} me much evil: the Lord reward{(G5630)} him according to his works:

At my first answer no man stood{(G5633)} with me, but all men forsook{(G5627)} me: I pray God that it may not be laid{(G5678)} to their charge.

Notwithstanding the Lord stood{(G5627)} with me, and strengthened{(G5656)} me; that by me the preaching might be fully known{(G5686)}, and that all the Gentiles might hear{(G5661)}: and I was delivered{(G5681)} out of the mouth of the lion.

And the Lord shall deliver{(G5695)} me from every evil work, and will preserve{(G5692)} me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
