And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying{(H8800)},

Son of man, set{(H8798)} thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy{(H8734)} against him,

And say{(H8804)}, Thus saith{(H8804)} the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

And I will turn thee back{(H8790)}, and put{(H8804)} hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth{(H8689)}, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed{(H8803)} with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling{(H8802)} swords:

Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:

Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.

Be thou prepared{(H8734)}, and prepare{(H8685)} for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled{(H8737)} unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.

After many days thou shalt be visited{(H8735)}: in the latter years thou shalt come{(H8799)} into the land that is brought back{(H8796)} from the sword, and is gathered{(H8794)} out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth{(H8717)} out of the nations, and they shall dwell{(H8804)} safely all of them.

Thou shalt ascend{(H8804)} and come{(H8799)} like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover{(H8763)} the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.

Thus saith{(H8804)} the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come{(H8799)} into thy mind, and thou shalt think{(H8804)} an evil thought:

And thou shalt say{(H8804)}, I will go up{(H8799)} to the land of unwalled villages; I will go{(H8799)} to them that are at rest{(H8802)}, that dwell{(H8802)} safely, all of them dwelling{(H8802)} without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

To take{(H8800)} a spoil, and to take{(H8800)} a prey; to turn{(H8687)} thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited{(H8737)}, and upon the people that are gathered{(H8794)} out of the nations, which have gotten{(H8802)} cattle and goods, that dwell{(H8802)} in the midst of the land.

Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants{(H8802)} of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say{(H8799)} unto thee, Art thou come{(H8802)} to take{(H8800)} a spoil? hast thou gathered{(H8689)} thy company to take{(H8800)} a prey? to carry away{(H8800)} silver and gold, to take away{(H8800)} cattle and goods, to take{(H8800)} a great spoil?

Therefore, son of man, prophesy{(H8734)} and say{(H8804)} unto Gog, Thus saith{(H8804)} the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth{(H8800)} safely, shalt thou not know{(H8799)} it?

And thou shalt come{(H8804)} from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding{(H8802)} upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:

And thou shalt come up{(H8804)} against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover{(H8763)} the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring{(H8689)} thee against my land, that the heathen may know{(H8800)} me, when I shall be sanctified{(H8736)} in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

Thus saith{(H8804)} the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken{(H8765)} in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied{(H8737)} in those days many years that I would bring{(H8687)} thee against them?

And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come{(H8800)} against the land of Israel, saith{(H8803)} the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up{(H8799)} in my face.

For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken{(H8765)}, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;

So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep{(H8802)} upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake{(H8804)} at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down{(H8738)}, and the steep places shall fall{(H8804)}, and every wall shall fall{(H8799)} to the ground.

And I will call{(H8804)} for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith{(H8803)} the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother.

And I will plead{(H8738)} against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain{(H8686)} upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing{(H8802)} rain, and great hailstones{H68}, fire, and brimstone.

Thus will I magnify{(H8694)} myself, and sanctify{(H8694)} myself; and I will be known{(H8738)} in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know{(H8804)} that I am the LORD.
