Isaiah 16

KJV with Strongs (1611 / 1769)

Strong's Interlinear
1
Send{(H8798)} ye the lamb to the ruler{(H8802)} of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.
2
For it shall be, that, as a wandering{(H8802)} bird cast out{(H8794)} of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.
3
Take{(H8685)} counsel, execute{(H8798)} judgment; make{(H8798)} thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide{(H8761)} the outcasts{(H8737)}; bewray{(H8762)} not him that wandereth{(H8802)}.
4
Let mine outcasts{(H8737)} dwell{(H8799)} with thee, Moab; be{(H8798)} thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler{(H8802)}: for the extortioner{(H8801)} is at an end{(H8804)}, the spoiler ceaseth{(H8804)}, the oppressors{(H8802)} are consumed{(H8804)} out of the land.
5
And in mercy shall the throne be established{(H8717)}: and he shall sit{(H8804)} upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging{(H8802)}, and seeking{(H8802)} judgment, and hasting righteousness.
6
We have heard{(H8804)} of the pride of Moab; he is very proud: even of his haughtiness, and his pride, and his wrath: but his lies shall not be so.
7
Therefore shall Moab howl{(H8686)} for Moab, every one shall howl{(H8686)}: for the foundations of Kirhareseth shall ye mourn{(H8799)}; surely they are stricken.
8
For the fields of Heshbon languish{(H8797)}, and the vine of Sibmah: the lords of the heathen have broken down{(H8804)} the principal plants thereof, they are come{(H8804)} even unto Jazer, they wandered{(H8804)} through the wilderness: her branches are stretched out{(H8738)}, they are gone over{(H8804)} the sea.
9
Therefore I will bewail{(H8799)} with the weeping of Jazer the vine of Sibmah: I will water{(H8762)} thee with my tears, O Heshbon, and Elealeh: for the shouting for thy summer fruits and for thy harvest is fallen{(H8804)}.
10
And gladness is taken away{(H8738)}, and joy out of the plentiful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing{(H8792)}, neither shall there be shouting{(H8783)}: the treaders{(H8802)} shall tread out{(H8799)} no wine in their presses; I have made their vintage shouting to cease{(H8689)}.
11
Wherefore my bowels shall sound{(H8799)} like an harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for Kirharesh.
12
And it shall come to pass, when it is seen{(H8738)} that Moab is weary{(H8738)} on the high place, that he shall come{(H8804)} to his sanctuary to pray{(H8692)}; but he shall not prevail{(H8799)}.
13
This is the word that the LORD hath spoken{(H8765)} concerning Moab since that time.
14
But now the LORD hath spoken{(H8765)}, saying{(H8800)}, Within three years, as the years of an hireling, and the glory of Moab shall be contemned{(H8738)}, with all that great multitude; and the remnant shall be very small and feeble{H3524}.
