Isaiah 56
KJV with Strongs (1611 / 1769)
✦Strong's Interlinear
1
Thus saith{(H8804)} the LORD, Keep{(H8798)} ye judgment, and do{(H8798)} justice: for my salvation is near to come{(H8800)}, and my righteousness to be revealed{(H8736)}.
2
Blessed is the man that doeth{(H8799)} this, and the son of man that layeth hold{(H8686)} on it; that keepeth{(H8802)} the sabbath from polluting{(H8763)} it, and keepeth{(H8802)} his hand from doing{(H8800)} any evil.
3
Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined{(H8738)} himself to the LORD, speak{(H8799)}, saying{(H8800)}, The LORD hath utterly{(H8687)} separated{(H8686)} me from his people: neither let the eunuch say{(H8799)}, Behold, I am a dry tree.
4
For thus saith{(H8804)} the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep{(H8799)} my sabbaths, and choose{(H8804)} the things that please{(H8804)} me, and take hold{(H8688)} of my covenant;
5
Even unto them will I give{(H8804)} in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give{(H8799)} them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off{(H8735)}.
6
Also the sons of the stranger, that join{(H8737)} themselves to the LORD, to serve{(H8763)} him, and to love{(H8800)} the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth{(H8802)} the sabbath from polluting{(H8763)} it, and taketh hold{(H8688)} of my covenant;
7
Even them will I bring{(H8689)} to my holy mountain, and make them joyful{(H8765)} in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called{(H8735)} an house of prayer for all people.
8
The Lord GOD which gathereth{(H8764)} the outcasts{(H8737)} of Israel saith{(H8803)}, Yet will I gather{(H8762)} others to him, beside those that are gathered{(H8737)} unto him.
9
All ye beasts of the field, come{(H8798)} to devour{(H8800)}, yea, all ye beasts in the forest.
10
His watchmen{(H8802)} are blind: they are all ignorant{(H8804)}, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot{(H8799)} bark{(H8800)}; sleeping{(H8802)}, lying down{(H8802)}, loving{(H8802)} to slumber{(H8800)}.
11
Yea, they are greedy{H5315} dogs which can{(H8804)} never have{(H8804)} enough, and they are shepherds{(H8802)} that cannot understand{(H8687)}: they all look{(H8804)} to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
12
Come{(H8798)} ye, say they, I will fetch{(H8799)} wine, and we will fill{(H8799)} ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.
