No doubt but ye are the people, and wisdom shall die{(H8799)} with you.

But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior{(H8802)} to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these?

I am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth{(H8802)} upon God, and he answereth{(H8799)} him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.

He that is ready{(H8737)} to slip{(H8802)} with his feet is as a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.

The tabernacles of robbers{(H8802)} prosper{(H8799)}, and they that provoke{(H8688)} God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth{(H8689)} abundantly.

But ask{(H8798)} now the beasts, and they shall teach{(H8686)} thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell{(H8686)} thee:

Or speak{(H8798)} to the earth, and it shall teach{(H8686)} thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare{(H8762)} unto thee.

Who knoweth{(H8804)} not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought{(H8804)} this?

In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind{H1320}.

Doth not the ear try{(H8799)} words? and the mouth taste{(H8799)} his meat?

With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.

With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.

Behold, he breaketh down{(H8799)}, and it cannot be built again{(H8735)}: he shutteth up{(H8799)} a man, and there can be no opening{(H8735)}.

Behold, he withholdeth{(H8799)} the waters, and they dry up{(H8799)}: also he sendeth them out{(H8762)}, and they overturn{(H8799)} the earth.

With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived{(H8802)} and the deceiver{(H8688)} are his.

He leadeth{(H8688)} counsellors{(H8802)} away spoiled, and maketh the judges{(H8802)} fools{(H8779)}.

He looseth{(H8765)} the bond of kings, and girdeth{(H8799)} their loins with a girdle.

He leadeth{(H8688)} princes away spoiled, and overthroweth{(H8762)} the mighty.

He removeth away{(H8688)} the speech of the trusty{(H8737)}, and taketh away{(H8799)} the understanding of the aged.

He poureth{(H8802)} contempt upon princes, and weakeneth{(H8765)} the strength of the mighty.

He discovereth{(H8764)} deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out{(H8686)} to light the shadow of death.

He increaseth{(H8688)} the nations, and destroyeth{(H8762)} them: he enlargeth{(H8802)} the nations, and straiteneth{(H8686)} them again.

He taketh away{(H8688)} the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander{(H8686)} in a wilderness where there is no way.

They grope{(H8762)} in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger{(H8686)} like a drunken man.
