Moreover Job continued{(H8686)}{(H8800)} his parable, and said{(H8799)},

As God liveth, who hath taken away{(H8689)} my judgment; and the Almighty, who hath vexed{(H8689)} my soul;

All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;

My lips shall not speak{(H8762)} wickedness, nor my tongue utter{(H8799)} deceit.

God forbid that I should justify{(H8686)} you: till I die{(H8799)} I will not remove{(H8686)} mine integrity from me.

My righteousness I hold{(H8689)} fast, and will not let it go{(H8686)}: my heart shall not reproach{(H8799)} me so long as I live.

Let mine enemy{(H8802)} be as the wicked, and he that riseth up{(H8693)} against me as the unrighteous.

For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained{(H8799)}, when God taketh away{(H8799)} his soul?

Will God hear{(H8799)} his cry when trouble cometh{(H8799)} upon him?

Will he delight{(H8691)} himself in the Almighty? will he always call{(H8799)} upon God?

I will teach{(H8686)} you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal{(H8762)}.

Behold, all ye yourselves have seen{(H8804)} it; why then are ye thus altogether vain{(H8799)}?

This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive{(H8799)} of the Almighty.

If his children be multiplied{(H8799)}, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied{(H8799)} with bread.

Those that remain of him shall be buried{(H8735)} in death: and his widows shall not weep{(H8799)}.

Though he heap up{(H8799)} silver as the dust, and prepare{(H8686)} raiment as the clay;

He may prepare{(H8686)} it, but the just shall put it on{(H8799)}, and the innocent shall divide{(H8799)} the silver.

He buildeth{(H8804)} his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper{(H8802)} maketh{(H8804)}.

The rich man shall lie down{(H8799)}, but he shall not be gathered{(H8735)}: he openeth{(H8804)} his eyes, and he is not.

Terrors take hold{(H8686)} on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away{(H8804)} in the night.

The east wind carrieth him away{(H8799)}, and he departeth{(H8799)}: and as a storm hurleth{(H8762)} him out of his place.

For God shall cast{(H8686)} upon him, and not spare{(H8799)}: he would fain{(H8800)} flee{(H8799)} out of his hand.

Men shall clap{(H8799)} their hands at him, and shall hiss{(H8799)} him out of his place.
