ALEPH. Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk{(H8802)} in the law of the LORD.

Blessed are they that keep{(H8802)} his testimonies, and that seek{(H8799)} him with the whole heart.

They also do{(H8804)} no iniquity: they walk{(H8804)} in his ways.

Thou hast commanded{(H8765)} us to keep{(H8800)} thy precepts diligently.

O that my ways were directed{(H8735)} to keep{(H8800)} thy statutes!

Then shall I not be ashamed{(H8799)}, when I have respect{(H8687)} unto all thy commandments.

I will praise{(H8686)} thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned{(H8800)} thy righteous judgments.

I will keep{(H8799)} thy statutes: O forsake{(H8799)} me not utterly.

BETH. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse{(H8762)} his way? by taking heed{(H8800)} thereto according to thy word.

With my whole heart have I sought{(H8804)} thee: O let me not wander{(H8686)} from thy commandments.

Thy word have I hid{(H8804)} in mine heart, that I might not sin{(H8799)} against thee.

I am a stranger in the earth: hide{(H8686)} not thy commandments from me.

My soul breaketh{(H8804)} for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times.

Thou hast rebuked{(H8804)} the proud that are cursed{(H8803)}, which do err{(H8802)} from thy commandments.

Remove{(H8798)} from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept{(H8804)} thy testimonies.

Princes also did sit{(H8804)} and speak{(H8738)} against me: but thy servant did meditate{(H8799)} in thy statutes.

Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors{H6098}.

I have declared{(H8765)} my ways, and thou heardest{(H8799)} me: teach{(H8761)} me thy statutes.

Make me to go{(H8685)} in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight{(H8804)}.

Incline{(H8685)} my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.

Turn away{(H8685)} mine eyes from beholding{(H8800)} vanity; and quicken{(H8761)} thou me in thy way.

Stablish{(H8685)} thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.

Turn away{(H8685)} my reproach which I fear{(H8804)}: for thy judgments are good.

Behold, I have longed{(H8804)} after thy precepts: quicken{(H8761)} me in thy righteousness.

VAU. Let thy mercies come{(H8799)} also unto me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word.

So shall I have wherewith to answer{(H8799)} him that reproacheth{(H8802)} me: for I trust{(H8804)} in thy word.

And take{(H8686)} not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped{(H8765)} in thy judgments.

So shall I keep{(H8799)} thy law continually for ever and ever.

This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened{(H8765)} me.

The proud have had me greatly in derision{(H8689)}: yet have I not declined{(H8804)} from thy law.

I remembered{(H8804)} thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted{(H8691)} myself.

Horror hath taken hold{(H8804)} upon me because of the wicked that forsake{(H8802)} thy law.

Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.

I have remembered{(H8804)} thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept{(H8799)} thy law.

This I had, because I kept{(H8804)} thy precepts.

CHETH. Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said{(H8804)} that I would keep{(H8800)} thy words.

I intreated{(H8765)} thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful{(H8798)} unto me according to thy word.

The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.

The proud have digged{(H8804)} pits for me, which are not after thy law.

All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute{(H8804)} me wrongfully; help{(H8798)} thou me.

Quicken{(H8761)} me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep{(H8799)} the testimony of thy mouth.

LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled{(H8737)} in heaven.

Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established{(H8790)} the earth, and it abideth{(H8799)}.

They continue{(H8804)} this day according to thine ordinances: for all are thy servants.

Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished{(H8804)} in mine affliction.

I will never forget{(H8799)} thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened{(H8765)} me.
