Psalms 144

KJV with Strongs (1611 / 1769)

Strong's Interlinear
1
A Psalm of David. Blessed{(H8803)} be the LORD my strength, which teacheth{(H8764)} my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
2
My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer{(H8764)}; my shield, and he in whom I trust{(H8804)}; who subdueth{(H8802)} my people under me.
3
LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge{(H8799)} of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account{(H8762)} of him!
4
Man is like{(H8804)} to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away{(H8802)}.
5
Bow{(H8685)} thy heavens, O LORD, and come down{(H8799)}: touch{(H8798)} the mountains, and they shall smoke{(H8799)}.
6
Cast forth{(H8798)} lightning, and scatter{(H8686)} them: shoot out{(H8798)} thine arrows, and destroy{(H8799)} them.
7
Send{(H8798)} thine hand from above; rid{(H8798)} me, and deliver{(H8685)} me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;
8
Whose mouth speaketh{(H8765)} vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
9
I will sing{(H8799)} a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises{(H8762)} unto thee.
10
It is he that giveth{(H8802)} salvation unto kings: who delivereth{(H8802)} David his servant from the hurtful sword.
11
Rid{(H8798)} me, and deliver{(H8685)} me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh{(H8765)} vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood:
12
That our sons may be as plants grown up{(H8794)} in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished{(H8794)} after the similitude of a palace:
13
That our garners may be full, affording{(H8688)} all manner of store{H2177}: that our sheep may bring forth thousands{(H8688)} and ten thousands{(H8794)} in our streets:
14
That our oxen may be strong to labour{(H8794)}; that there be no breaking in, nor going out{(H8802)}; that there be no complaining in our streets.
15
Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.
