Psalms 21

KJV with Strongs (1611 / 1769)

Strong's Interlinear
1
To the chief Musician{(H8764)}, A Psalm of David. The king shall joy{(H8799)} in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice{(H8799)}!
2
Thou hast given{(H8804)} him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden{(H8804)} the request of his lips. Selah.
3
For thou preventest{(H8762)} him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest{(H8799)} a crown of pure gold on his head.
4
He asked{(H8804)} life of thee, and thou gavest{(H8804)} it him, even length of days for ever and ever.
5
His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid{(H8762)} upon him.
6
For thou hast made{(H8799)} him most blessed for ever: thou hast made{(H8762)} him exceeding glad with thy countenance.
7
For the king trusteth{(H8802)} in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved{(H8735)}.
8
Thine hand shall find out{(H8799)} all thine enemies{(H8802)}: thy right hand shall find out{(H8799)} those that hate{(H8802)} thee.
9
Thou shalt make{(H8799)} them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up{(H8762)} in his wrath, and the fire shall devour{(H8799)} them.
10
Their fruit shalt thou destroy{(H8762)} from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.
11
For they intended{(H8804)} evil against thee: they imagined{(H8804)} a mischievous device, which they are not able{(H8799)} to perform.
12
Therefore shalt thou make{(H8799)} them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready{(H8787)} thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.
13
Be thou exalted{(H8798)}, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing{(H8799)} and praise{(H8762)} thy power.
