1 Corinthians 6

KJV with Strongs (1611 / 1769)

Strong's Interlinear
1
Dare{(G5719)} any of you, having{(G5723)} a matter against another, go to law{(G5745)} before the unjust, and not before the saints?
2
Do ye not know{(G5758)} that the saints shall judge{(G5692)} the world? and if the world shall be judged{(G5743)} by you, are ye{(G5748)} unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
3
Know ye{(G5758)} not that we shall judge{(G5692)} angels? how much more{G1065} things that pertain to this life?
4
If then{G3767} ye have{(G5725)} judgments of things pertaining to this life, set{(G5719)} them to judge who are least esteemed{(G5772)} in the church.
5
I speak{(G5719)} to your shame. Is it so, that there{(G5748)} is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able{(G5695)} to judge{(G5658)} between{G3319} his brethren?
6
But brother goeth to law{(G5743)} with brother, and that before the unbelievers.
7
Now therefore{G3767} there is{(G5748)} utterly a fault among you, because ye go{(G5719)} to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong{(G5743)}? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded{(G5743)}?
8
Nay, ye do wrong{(G5719)}, and defraud{(G5719)}, and that your brethren.
9
{G2228} Know ye{(G5758)} not that the unrighteous shall not inherit{(G5692)} the kingdom of God? Be not deceived{(G5744)}: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10
Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit{G2816}{(G5692)} the kingdom of God.
11
And such were{(G5713)} some of you: but ye are washed{(G5668)}, but ye are sanctified{(G5681)}, but ye are justified{(G5681)} in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
12
All things are lawful{(G5748)} unto me, but all things are not expedient{(G5719)}: all things are lawful{(G5748)} for me, but I will not be brought under the power{(G5701)} of any.
13
Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy{(G5692)} both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
14
And God hath both raised up{(G5656)} the Lord, and will also raise up{(G5692)} us by his own power.
15
Know ye{(G5758)} not that your bodies are{(G5748)} the members of Christ? shall I then take{(G5660)} the members of Christ, and make{(G5661)} them the members of an harlot? God forbid{G1096}{(G5636)}.
16
What? know ye{(G5758)} not that he which is joined{(G5746)} to an harlot is{(G5748)} one body? for two, saith he{(G5748)}, shall be{(G5704)} one{G3391} flesh.
17
But he that is joined{(G5746)} unto the Lord is{(G5748)} one spirit.
18
Flee{(G5720)} fornication. Every sin that{G1437} a man doeth{(G5661)} is{(G5748)} without the body; but he that committeth fornication{(G5723)} sinneth{(G5719)} against his own body.
19
What? know ye{(G5758)} not that your body is{(G5748)} the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have{(G5719)} of God, and ye are{(G5748)} not your own?
20
For ye are bought{(G5681)} with a price: therefore glorify{(G5657)} God in your body, and in your spirit, which are{(G5748)} God's.
