Hear{(H8798)} this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress{(H8802)} the poor, which crush{(H8802)} the needy, which say{(H8802)} to their masters, Bring{(H8685)}, and let us drink{(H8799)}.

The Lord GOD hath sworn{(H8738)} by his holiness, that, lo, the days shall come{(H8802)} upon you, that he will take you away{(H8765)} with hooks, and your posterity with fishhooks{H5518}.

And ye shall go out{(H8799)} at the breaches, every cow at that which is before her; and ye shall cast{(H8689)} them into the palace, saith{(H8803)} the LORD.

Come{(H8798)} to Bethel, and transgress{(H8798)}; at Gilgal multiply{(H8685)} transgression{(H8800)}; and bring{(H8685)} your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years:

And offer{(H8763)} a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim{(H8798)} and publish{(H8685)} the free offerings: for this liketh{(H8804)} you, O ye children of Israel, saith{(H8803)} the Lord GOD.

And I also have given{(H8804)} you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places: yet have ye not returned{(H8804)} unto me, saith{(H8803)} the LORD.

And also I have withholden{(H8804)} the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain{(H8689)} upon one city, and caused it not to rain{(H8686)} upon another city: one piece was rained{(H8735)} upon, and the piece whereupon it rained{(H8686)} not withered{(H8799)}.

So two or three cities wandered{(H8804)} unto one city, to drink{(H8800)} water; but they were not satisfied{(H8799)}: yet have ye not returned{(H8804)} unto me, saith{(H8803)} the LORD.

I have smitten{(H8689)} you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased{(H8687)}, the palmerworm devoured{(H8799)} them: yet have ye not returned{(H8804)} unto me, saith{(H8803)} the LORD.

I have sent{(H8765)} among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain{(H8804)} with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up{(H8686)} unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned{(H8804)} unto me, saith{(H8803)} the LORD.

I have overthrown{(H8804)} some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out{(H8716)} of the burning: yet have ye not returned{(H8804)} unto me, saith{(H8803)} the LORD.

Therefore thus will I do{(H8799)} unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do{(H8799)} this unto thee, prepare{(H8734)} to meet{(H8800)} thy God, O Israel.

For, lo, he that formeth{(H8802)} the mountains, and createth{(H8802)} the wind, and declareth{(H8688)} unto man what is his thought, that maketh{(H8802)} the morning darkness, and treadeth{(H8802)} upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.
