Cast{(H8761)} thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find{(H8799)} it after many days.

Give{(H8798)} a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest{(H8799)} not what evil shall be upon the earth.

If the clouds be full{(H8735)} of rain, they empty{(H8686)} themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall{(H8799)} toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth{(H8799)}, there it shall be{(H8799)}.

He that observeth{(H8802)} the wind shall not sow{(H8799)}; and he that regardeth{(H8802)} the clouds shall not reap{(H8799)}.

As thou knowest{(H8802)} not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest{(H8799)} not the works of God who maketh{(H8799)} all.

In the morning sow{(H8798)} thy seed, and in the evening withhold{(H8686)} not thine hand: for thou knowest{(H8802)} not whether shall prosper{(H8799)}, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.

Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold{(H8800)} the sun:

But if a man live{(H8799)} many{(H8687)} years, and rejoice{(H8799)} in them all; yet let him remember{(H8799)} the days of darkness; for they shall be many{(H8687)}. All that cometh{(H8804)} is vanity.

Rejoice{(H8798)}, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer{(H8686)} thee in the days of thy youth, and walk{(H8761)} in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know{(H8798)} thou, that for all these things God will bring{(H8686)} thee into judgment.

Therefore remove{(H8685)} sorrow from thy heart, and put away{(H8685)} evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.
