Hebrews 3

✦Strong's Interlinear
1
Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider{(G5657)} the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
2
Who was{(G5752)} faithful to him that appointed{(G5660)} him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.
3
For this man was counted worthy{(G5769)} of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as{G3745} he who hath builded{(G5660)} the house hath more honour than{(G5719)} the house.
4
For every house is builded{(G5743)} by some man; but he that built{(G5660)} all things is God.
5
And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after{(G5702)};
6
But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are{(G5748)} we, if{G4007} we hold fast{(G5632)} the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
7
Wherefore(as the Holy Ghost saith{(G5719)}, To day if ye will hear{(G5661)} his voice,
8
Harden{(G5725)} not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
9
When your fathers tempted{(G5656)} me, proved{(G5656)} me, and saw{(G5627)} my works forty years.
10
Wherefore I was grieved{(G5656)} with that generation, and said{(G5627)}, They do alway err{(G5746)} in their heart; and they have not known{(G5627)} my ways.
11
So I sware{(G5656)} in my wrath, They shall not enter{(G5695)} into my rest.)
12
Take heed{(G5720)}, brethren, lest there be{(G5704)} in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing{(G5629)} from the living{(G5723)} God.
13
But exhort{(G5720)} one another daily{G1538}, while{G3739} it is called{(G5743)} To day; lest any of you be hardened{(G5686)} through the deceitfulness of sin.
14
For we are made{(G5754)} partakers of Christ, if{G4007} we hold{(G5632)} the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
15
While it is said{(G5745)}, To day if ye will hear{(G5661)} his voice, harden{(G5725)} not your hearts, as in the provocation.
16
For some, when they had heard{(G5660)}, did provoke{(G5656)}: howbeit not all that came{(G5631)} out of Egypt by Moses.
17
But with whom was he grieved{(G5656)} forty years? was it not with them that had sinned{(G5660)}, whose carcases fell{(G5627)} in the wilderness?
18
And to whom sware he{(G5656)} that they should not enter{(G5696)} into his rest, but to them that believed not{(G5660)}?
19
So we see{(G5719)} that they could{(G5675)} not enter in{(G5629)} because of unbelief.
