Psalms 5

KJV with Strongs (1611 / 1769)

Strong's Interlinear
1
To the chief Musician{(H8764)} upon Nehiloth, A Psalm of David. Give ear{(H8685)} to my words, O LORD, consider{(H8798)} my meditation.
2
Hearken{(H8685)} unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray{(H8691)}.
3
My voice shalt thou hear{(H8799)} in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct{(H8799)} my prayer unto thee, and will look up{(H8762)}.
4
For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell{(H8799)} with thee.
5
The foolish{(H8802)} shall not stand{(H8691)} in thy sight: thou hatest{(H8804)} all workers{(H8802)} of iniquity.
6
Thou shalt destroy{(H8762)} them that speak{(H8802)} leasing: the LORD will abhor{(H8762)} the bloody and deceitful man.
7
But as for me, I will come{(H8799)} into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship{(H8691)} toward thy holy temple.
8
Lead{(H8798)} me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies{(H8802)}; make thy way straight{(H8685)} before my face.
9
For there is no faithfulness{(H8737)} in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open{(H8803)} sepulchre; they flatter{(H8686)} with their tongue.
10
Destroy{(H8685)} thou them, O God; let them fall{(H8799)} by their own counsels; cast them out{(H8685)} in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled{(H8804)} against thee.
11
But let all those that put their trust{(H8802)} in thee rejoice{(H8799)}: let them ever shout for joy{(H8762)}, because thou defendest{(H8686)} them: let them also that love{(H8802)} thy name be joyful{(H8799)} in thee.
12
For thou, LORD, wilt bless{(H8762)} the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass{(H8799)} him as with a shield.
