To the chief Musician{(H8764)} on Neginoth upon Sheminith, A Psalm of David. O LORD, rebuke{(H8686)} me not in thine anger, neither chasten{(H8762)} me in thy hot displeasure.

Have mercy{(H8798)} upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal{(H8798)} me; for my bones are vexed{(H8738)}.

My soul is also sore vexed{(H8738)}: but thou, O LORD, how long?

Return{(H8798)}, O LORD, deliver{(H8761)} my soul: oh save{(H8685)} me for thy mercies' sake.

For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks{(H8686)}?

I am weary{(H8804)} with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim{(H8686)}; I water{(H8686)} my couch with my tears.

Mine eye is consumed{(H8804)} because of grief; it waxeth old{(H8804)} because of all mine enemies{(H8802)}.

Depart{(H8798)} from me, all ye workers{(H8802)} of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard{(H8804)} the voice of my weeping.

The LORD hath heard{(H8804)} my supplication; the LORD will receive{(H8799)} my prayer.

Let all mine enemies{(H8802)} be ashamed{(H8799)} and sore vexed{(H8735)}: let them return{(H8799)} and be ashamed{(H8799)} suddenly.
